And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”
-Genesis 1:3 (NIV)

Before God’s creative work, darkness and chaos covered the earth. Then, with creative power and authority, God spoke, and everything changed-let there be light!

Radiance revealed.

Darkness confined.

The power of God’s spoken word carries life, light, and order with it. In a world engulfed in darkness, the light produced by the simple spoken word of God is profoundly significant. Just as the Creator spoke light into existence, our Heavenly Father desires our lives to be filled with light. When we find ourselves engulfed in uncertainty and confusion, the powerful word of God can bring clarity, hope, and purpose.

Let us seek the always-creative voice of God in every nook and cranny of our lives, allowing our hearts, minds, and souls to be illuminated. And in return, let us reflect that illumination in our world.
