Thank you for writing this. When I was in university (some time ago) I had the pleasure of hearing Brennan Manning speak on two separate occasions--powerful and convicting. It was very formative for me. And yes, as the church we MUST be a place of grace, for we are all on this journey together, each of us a "person in process" -- not who we once were and not yet who we will be.
