What’s the Big Deal With Black Saturday?

Numbing silence

Dead.

Gone.

Lost.

All we hoped for is no more.

What now?

Numb silence.

Black Saturday is traditionally a day of quiet, somber reflection. For us, on the other side of the resurrection, it can be hard to sit in the disappointment, hurt, pain, and sense of meaninglessness that this one Saturday in history held for all who had been following Jesus.

But…we’ve all been in the place at some point, haven’t we?

It's a moment in time when our world went dark.

Remember that time.

Let it linger as you wait for Sunday to dawn.
