With Each Flicker and Glow

Advent season in limerick form, starting with hope:

In a world filled with darkness and doubt,
A flicker of hope seemed to shout,
“Though the path may be steep,
Hold fast, do not weep,
For the dawn of new chances is out.”

The advent candles of hope, peace, joy, and love prepare our hearts and minds for the remembrance of Christmas. Biblical HOPE means trusting in God’s character despite our circumstances. May we find new hope this season and into the new year!
